David appeared at the Opera House this past March in The Pajama Game (Hasler). In April he performed in the Artie-nominated comedy Death of a Streetcar Named Virginia Woolf (Willy Loman) at the Alleyway Theatre. This coming December, David will appear for the seventeenth time in Alleyway’s annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol (Scrooge). Mr. Mitchell is a member of the Road Less Traveled Productions Ensemble, where he has appeared in several plays. A three-time Artie nominee for Best Supporting Actor, he has performed in nearly three hundred stage productions in his thirty-year professional theatre career. When he is not on stage, David teaches acting, reading, and writing at local colleges. He is also an avid painter of American folk art.
