Dancers will march, gallop, and roll… jump, twirl, wiggle, and giggle while using our imaginations to go on exciting adventures. Fine and gross motor skills are developed through the use of music, dance, props, and games. This class will be used as an introduction to movement and to set the foundation for acro-dance. This class is a fun introduction for young dancers and an excellent way for children to improve listening and learning skills, build self-confidence, and feel a sense of accomplishment!

This class inspires creativity, musicality, and the fundamentals of jazz and acro-dance. Jazz dance introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun, upbeat and expressive way of moving while Acro-dance will incorporate flexibility, contortion, balance, and tumbling skills. The combination of styles will create a fun and well-rounded introduction to dancing. Through the use of games, props, dance and music students will develop coordination, strength, dance technique, rhythm, and body awareness. This class is an excellent way for children to feel a sense of accomplishment and gain self-confidence!
